|So you are thinking of a relaxing vacation on P.E.I? May I recommend the Sandhill View Suites. We have 5 units, four of our units are one bedroom suites with full size housekeeping kitchens and living rooms. All of our units have comfortable, homey accommodations set on a large private lot with childrens swings and a slide. If you are a retired couple or a family with children, we are the right place for you.
Some of the amenities we offer are an on site coin laundry, satellite TV with VCR, and baseboard electric heat and air conditioning. The fully equipped kitchens have a full size fridge and stove, all the utensils needed including dishes, microwave, toaster, coffee perk, as well as complementary coffee. The spacious bedrooms have a queen bed, bedside table, large dresser and all linens are supplied.. In the living area, you will find a comfortable double sofa bed, reading chair and dining table and four chairs. The modern bath has a tub and shower.
For those of you who would rather have 2 double beds, we do have one unit that can accommodate you. This extra large motel style unit has a half kitchen with a built in cabinet housing a coffee pot, toaster, microwave, large bar fridge and disposable utensils. A small table and 2 chairs placed by your picture window still allows loads of room (in fact, we have put in two additional cots with ease).
We are 1 km away from restaurants, deep sea fishing, marina, para sail and seadoo rentals, & a fresh fish market. Within 5 km you can find a large market, banking machine, full service gas station, beaches, shopping and several world class golf courses!
We are conveniently located only 5 km from the Cavendish National Park and all of the attractions of "Anne's Land", but when you're finished with the beach and the crowds of the amusement parks, you'll be glad to retire to your newly renovated, peaceful unit. Sit outside under your covered veranda, start the gas barbeque, enjoy a cool drink, watch the children play or just enjoy the views of the marina, New London Bay and the Cavendish sand dunes.
Many patrons enjoy watching our horses, taking walks all around our property, watching the fishing boats come and go from the Stanley Bridge wharf, or fishing off the bridge (located at the end of our road). If you wish a taste of Island culture, you can't miss the musical ceilidhs at the hall (weekly) or the Saturday musical matinee at the local oyster bar (families welcome).
We live on site and are hands on owners. Our children look forward to moving to the country for the summer. It gives them time to play on the farm, ride the tractor and we get a chance to relax and enjoy country living at it's best. Come join us if you are looking for a taste of rural Island life. We are your choice....
